Quality Manager

Job Description:

Looking for a talented, driven and experienced individual to support quality operations in a high technology manufacturing environment, lead certification activities and drive adherence to quality policies and operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and oversee day to day activities, employees and KPI/metrics performance of Quality department.
  • Responsible for implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of company’s QMS, processes and procedures to AS9100D, space requirements and any other regulatory or statutory requirements.
  • Conduct organizational training activities such as SOP, WI, RCCA, team building department, statutory, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Responsible for organizational internal audit schedule and activities to AS9100, DO-330 and DO-178 regulations.
  • Accountable for organizational continuous improvement/process improvement activities.
  • Oversee organizational quality strategic planning, implementation and deployment.
  • Host customer and 3rd party audits. Conduct new supplier and surveillance audits.
  • Support supplier development and management.
  • Develop and manage company-wide metrics to meet company’s policy and goals as well as to continuously monitor and manage QMS effectiveness.
  • Conduct contract requirements and review for quality and create quality compliance matrices to ensure proper flow down communication and execution activities.
  • Participate in monthly PMR, engineering gates review, manufacturing readiness review, RTVM, CM, PDR, CDR, MRR and TRR as Quality lead.
  • Compile and present quarterly QMR presentations to Senior Leadership Team.
  • Lead materials review board, critical review board and process improvement committees as well as organization failure investigation activities and meetings.
  • Member of Senior Leadership Team, Safety committee and Emergency Response Team. Act as company Management Representative and FOD program.
  • Designated space program lead QE and MIPS inspector to NASA standards.

Sr. Contracts Manager

Looking for an individual to develop, review, modify, and negotiate proposals and contracts; interface with clients, and meet aggressive deadlines in a rapidly growing high-performance technological environment. This individual will work under the guidance of the company Director of Contracts and in collaboration with other business, operations, and engineering areas.

Responsibilities

  • Review, redline and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors, including but not limited to, nondisclosure agreements, contract, terms and conditions, and other related legal documents
  • Provides guidance and training on export compliance
  • Manage activities involved in export regulatory compliance
  • Manage contract administration from conception through product lifecycle of highly technical aerospace and defense projects
  • Prepare and submit proposals
  • Assist in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policies and processes
  • Complete contract review and acceptance
  • Solve and mitigate issues regarding risk, profit, contractual provisions, client expectations, etc.
  • Manage scope of the work and schedule to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Negotiation of scope changes
  • Review and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to, nondisclosure agreements with clients and vendors
  • Perform contract reviews, negotiate contract modifications and amendments as necessary on government contracts
  • Review of legal documents for the purpose of complying with contractual obligations
  • Effectively manage change control and issue resolution
  • Proven track record of success in collaborative management style and the ability to work closely in a cross-functional environment

Test Technician

Description:

Looking for a talented and experienced individual to setup, perform testing, and troubleshoot strategic projects, and embedded hardware platforms.

The ideal candidate will have an  Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or other related. Engineering discipline and/or 5+ years equivalent recent experience in hands-on development.

Candidate should be able to demonstrate recent hands-on experience in:

  • Engineering test setup, test, and measurement equipment to conduct system level testing and troubleshooting
  • Using a variety of test and measurement equipment including but not limited to oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, and other input/output electronic test devices
  • Conduct board and system level testing and troubleshooting
  • Expert documentation, recording and storing data

Senior Quality Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to perform quality engineering activities in a fast-paced, advanced technology environment.

This individual will work under the guidance of the company Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (AS9100D/ISO9001:2015) in addition to 3rd party audit, supplier audit and internal auditing experience. It is preferred that the candidate has practical experience or basic knowledge of IPC-610-A and IPC J-STD-001 standards as well as space product handling knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform closed-loop corrective action and root cause analysis.
  • Assemble and review end-item data packages for submittal to customers.
  • Performs and documents first article inspections per AS9102B.
  • Review and approve supplier first article inspection reports per AS9102B.
  • Responsible for product and data presentation for final customer acceptance.
  • Lead internal MRB activities and meetings with cross functional teams to conduct robust RCCA.
  • Document and resolve non-conforming material issues from internal rejections and for supplier rejections.
  • Document and resolve customer RMA issues.
  • Supports QA manager with Quality Management Review by performing and providing data analysis, trend analysis and ensuring data accuracy and calculations for KPI metrics.
  • Technical writing skills that include quality management system processes and procedures.
  • Identifies and drives process improvement initiatives to completion.
  • Performs internal and supplier audits on product, process, and system to verify effectiveness and validate corrective actions that were taken.
  • Review quality requirements of contracts, PO’s, and amendments to awarded contracts, and identify any unique customer requirements for workmanship or traceability.
  • Maintains all quality records per ESI Motion SOP.
  • Support and execute any other task given by Quality Manager.

    Sr. Mechanical Engineer

    Job Description: The mechanical Engineer’s role is to apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials for strategic projects and embedded hardware platforms. This individual will work under the guidance of the company President and Director of Engineering and in collaboration with other engineering areas.

    Essential Functions:

    • Perform basic electrical engineering concepts and electronics packaging techniques
    • Creation of 3 dimensional modeling using Solidworks
    • Creation of detailed assembly and fabricated drawings
    • Successful use of manufacturing methods, procedures and processes
    • Continuous improvement of manufacturing documentation processes
    • Interface with customers
    • Collaboration with production to transition products from development
    • Planning, managing and execution of multiple design activities while maintaining quality, cost and scheduling requirements

    Finance Manager

    Description:

    Looking for a talented, driven and experienced individual to lead finance and budgetary activities and drive adherence to appropriate accounting standards. This individual will work under the guidance of the company President.

    The Finance Manager is a key member of the organization, providing analytical support for leadership of key functional areas within ESI. This position involves establishing and maintaining working relationships with business partners, and supporting management with analysis and reporting to help support and accelerate rapid growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for ongoing review and reporting of sales and margins of the programs
    • Partner with the management team build forecasts and annual budgets
    • Support preparation of the strategic 5-year plan
    • Support all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
    • Support headcount forecasting and reporting
    • Lead all EAC analysis and ETC completion processes with program management team
    • Run all month end GM analytics and costing processes
    • Conduct variance analysis based on actuals, spend plans, and trends and partner with leadership team to identify issues and opportunities
    • Prepare and analyze weekly / monthly reports for management team
    • Prepare monthly cost reports in accordance with contract requirements on specific contracts
    • Assist with month end close duties including preparation and reconciliation of journal entries

    Director of Finance

    As the Director of Finance, you will drive effective financial execution through superior leadership and hands-on analytics. This position requires a builder who maintains drive through establishing effective business infrastructure that contributes to accurate financial forecasting. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills as you will be required to facilitate various financial forecasts and inputs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial leadership and accountability including performance management of the business, establishment and maintenance of internal controls, policy compliance and effective financial input into key strategic initiatives.
    • Partnering with leaders to drive behaviors and actions that achieve financial objectives and business goals.
    • Drives cash management across the company, establishing standardization and directs budget preparation and forecast updates in accordance with GAAP.
    • Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of key business priorities facing the organization, understand challenges, perspectives, and potential impact of decisions.
    • Perform detailed financial analysis, define and understand variances to budget baseline and EAC positions and support man-power forecasts.
    • Conduct product line profitability analysis and identify cost reduction initiatives.
    • Leads business activities to improve performance, margins, costs, EACs, forecast accuracy and drive return on investments.
    • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in finance, operations, supply chain and other areas of the business for financial and strategic planning purposes.
    • Establishes strategies for financial analysis, insight, research and forecasts to support long-term financial goals and strategic decisions.
    • Ensures accuracy, predictability of financial forecasts and corrective actions.
    • Acts as a decisive leader, giving clear guidance and direction to the team.
    • Prepare and analyze reports for management team with findings and recommendations needed to make significant operational decisions which impact profitability and cash flow.
    • Lead the identification, development, implementation and adoption of new processes and system.
    • Develop self and others by demonstrating strong leadership presence, seeking and providing feedback and coaching.
    • Guides organization to perform financial practices in compliance with regulatory requirements, laws and standards.

    Electrical Engineer

    Description:

    Looking for a talented and experienced individual to conduct design, system integration, troubleshooting and testing activities for strategic projects and embedded hardware platforms. This individual will work under the guidance of the company President and Director of Engineering and in collaboration with other engineering areas.

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering discipline, and 5+ years recent experience in hands-on development.

    Test Engineer

    The Test Engineer’s role is to setup, perform testing, and troubleshoot strategic projects, and embedded hardware platforms. This individual will work under the guidance of the company Quality Manager and in collaboration with other production areas.
